Absolutely exceptional and one of the best restaurants I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. Service perfect. Seating perfect. Food perfect. Décor was tasteful and quite stylistically bold, with a lot of interesting shapes, patterns, and hard earth tones - but overall it was not overdone. An absolute highlight of an experience that makes other good restaurants look bad by comparison — and our server Blake gets high marks too. We felt catered to without being hovered over.

We were seated away from people with a reasonably sized party and had plenty of attention without feeling burdened by it. Everything from the menu to the flatware felt fun and creative and “on brand” with a cohesive “conversation” theme that takes after the restaurant’s namesake. At the beginning you’ll even get conversation starting cards with your napkin that are charming if a little cheesy. The “theme” is really something they care about, but you aren’t being assaulted by it.

It’s not cheap, all things considered; you’ll pay $100 a person if you consider tip and 3 courses, as may be suggested by the menu itself - but you could walk in and out for $60-80 if you really played it close to the vest and 2 people got simple entrees, and even a few additions.

We think the hummus is a highlight, anything with their delightful bread, and pasta dishes - all shine. Desserts are without flaw as well. As with some higher end meat dishes, we find the salt forwardness a little much at times, but it’s not something to drive you away. Savory is front and center.

Creative, comfortable, quality, would go back in a heartbeat! 5/5
